Can I add food colouring or scented fluids to the fog/bubble solution?

No, we highly recommend using commercial-grade solutions designed for your Bubblr machine. Homemade mixtures may be unsafe, ineffective, and could damage the product.

Is artificial fog safe to breathe?

Most fog solutions are water-based and include glycol, which is considered safe and non-hazardous for humans. However, here are some important guidelines:

  • Use in well-ventilated areas if operating indoors.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to fog to minimize irritation, especially for those with respiratory sensitivities.
  • Do not expose the fog to individuals with asthma or severe allergies.
  • Fog should not be blown directly onto food or pets. While the fog is safe, it may leave a light residue on surfaces, similar to condensation from a hot shower. Always use fog in well-ventilated areas.

Is the bubble fluid safe?

The bubble fluid is non-toxic and safe for use, but it is:

  • Not suitable for children under 36 months.
  • Not intended for consumption. Do not eat or drink the solution.

If the fluid is accidentally swallowed:

  • Rinse the mouth thoroughly with water.
  • Do not induce vomiting unless directed by medical personnel.
  • Seek medical advice immediately and provide the product label or ingredient list for reference.

Can I make my own fog solution and bubble solution?

We do not recommend using homemade fog or bubble solutions, as they may not be as effective or reliable as commercial-grade solutions.

Homemade mixtures may fail to produce the desired fog or bubble effects and could potentially damage the machine. For the best performance, always use high-quality, professional fog or bubble solutions designed for your Bubblr machine.

What kind of bubble solution is best for the Bubblr Fog Bubble Machine?

For optimal results, we recommend using our concentrated bubble liquid, which can be easily purchased here.

Why is the red LED indicator light flashing after I fill the fog fluid?

The flashing red LED light indicates that the fog fluid you’ve used is too dense and needs to be diluted with water.

Solution:
Slowly add water to the fog liquid tank and stir thoroughly. Continue this process until the fog fluid reaches the correct consistency, and the LED indicator stops flashing. This ensures the machine operates smoothly and produces optimal results.

The fog indicator light is green, but no fog is released when I press and hold the red button on the controller.

This issue is likely due to insufficient fog solution in the reservoir tank. Please refill the reservoir with fog solution, ensuring it reaches the recommended level, and try again. Regularly checking and maintaining the fluid level can help prevent interruptions.

Why is the bubble output low?

Low bubble output can occur if residual bubble solution has solidified in the pipes, causing blockages.

Solution:

  1. Clean the bubble liquid tank thoroughly with water to remove any residue.
  2. Use only professional bubble solution, as homemade soap mixtures may not provide optimal performance and could lead to clogs.

How to clean the liquid tanks?

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Bubblr Fog Bubble Machine, it’s important to clean the machine after each use. Residual liquid in the bubble pipelines can solidify and cause clogs, which may impact future use. Follow these simple steps to clean your machine effectively:

Cleaning the Liquid Tanks

  1. Drain the Liquids:
    Empty all the bubble liquid and fog liquid through the two separate drainage outlets.
  2. Close the Outlets:
    Ensure both drainage outlets are securely closed after draining.
  3. Flush the Bubble Tank:
    Pour 300mL of clean water into the bubble liquid tank only.
  4. Run the Cleaning Cycle:
    Plug in the power cord, set the function button to position “I” (Bubble), and let the machine run for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Drain and Unplug:
    Turn off and unplug the machine, then empty the water from the bubble liquid tank through the drainage outlet.
  6. Wipe the Surface:
    Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior of the machine.

Cleaning the Air Passage

During operation, some bubble liquid may enter the air passage. To maintain performance:

  • Pour out any residue from the air passage outlet after each use.

What should I do if the product stops working?

The machine does not have user-serviceable parts.

  • Do not open the cover.
  • Replace the fuse only with a 5.0 Amp, 125V fuse if necessary.

Will fog smoke set off smoke detectors or sprinkler systems?

Yes, fog may trigger optical smoke detectors that sense particles in the air. However:

  • Sprinkler systems are heat-activated and won’t respond to fog.
  • Before using fog indoors, test to ensure it doesn’t activate your detectors.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation, as fog in small spaces can leave a light, harmless residue on surfaces.

Why won’t the Fog Bubble Machine produce fog or bubbles?

  • Ensure there is enough fog fluid and bubble liquid in the tanks.
  • Confirm the machine is plugged into a working outlet.
  • Allow the machine 3-5 minutes to heat up after turning it on.
  • Check the fuse. If blown, refer to the “Fuse Replacement” section in the manual.

What does it mean when the LED status indicator flashes red?

  • The red flashing light indicates the machine lacks fog liquid.
  • When fog liquid is low, the built-in heater is disconnected, and the fog function will not work.
  • In this state, the FOG BUBBLE and FOG buttons will not function, but the BUBBLE button can still spray bubbles if there is enough bubble liquid in the tank.
  • Refill the appropriate liquid tanks as needed to resolve this issue.

Why isn’t the wireless remote control working?

  • Ensure the insulating strip has been removed from the remote control.
  • Replace the remote control battery with a new CR2032 (3V) battery.
  • Confirm you are standing within range and close enough for the machine to detect the signal from the remote.

  • Make sure the tank contains sufficient fog fluid.
  • Always use professional water-based fog solution designed for fog machines. Avoid using incompatible fluids.

    Ensure both outlets are securely closed.
  3. Flush the Bubble Tank
    Pour 300mL of distilled water into the bubble liquid tank only.
  4. Run the Cleaning Cycle
    Set the function button to “BUBBLE” and let the machine operate for 5 to 10 minutes.
  5. Drain and Turn Off
    Turn off the machine and empty the distilled water from the tank.
  6. Important Note
    Do not clean the fog liquid tank after use.

We currently ship within Australia only.
